"It Came from the Cellar!" is the quintessential 1st level adventure featuring a tavern, cellar, dungeon, oozes, sewers, rats, centipedes, and giant ratipedes! (We have included additional combat tables if you would like to run this for players at level 2 or 3.) In our quest to take the tropes of a level one adventure and turn it into something unique and exciting we have created a one of a kind adventure that is sure to challenge and excite your players. Our adventures are easy to read, specially formatted, and use bullet points to help the GM pick out details quickly so the adventure can be ran at a glance. We include maps, combat cards, spell cards, item cards, and paper miniatures so you can spend less time prepping for your game session.

Player Reward Character Sheets

Reward your players with new character sheets when they complete It Came from the Cellar!. These bonus character sheets depict the Dipsa (ooze snake) and Giant Ratipede. Two difficult encounters that are not for the faint of heart that occur in this adventure. 

These character sheets are designed by Jordan Kroeger. These bonus character sheets are included in the Platinum and Mithrail reward tiers, and the character sheet add-on. If you did not select these reward tiers or character sheet add-on, you can upgrade or add them to your pledge by clicking on "manage your pledge" located on our Kickstarter project page.

 Character sheets come with a textured background (example above) and a printer friendly white background. 

Next Stretch Goal: Tavern Cellar Map

Our next stretch goal unlocks at $4500. A tavern cellar map will be created for this adventure. The hook for this adventure begins in a tavern cellar and takes place in a dungeon below the village. With a tavern cellar map you can choose to have the dangers from the dungeon spill out into the tavern cellar.

Creator's Corner 

Fifty-nine years ago, the village of Veknis banished the orphan Anistia Longnow to the primeval Forest of Legressia for being a witch. Such was her resourcefulness that she survived. Yet, she fell prey to an ancient fey curse, which feasted upon the young girl's fears and lust for vengeance. Today, Anistia lives on as the Witch of Chimney Rock!

The Witch of Chimney Rock 5e adventure is designed to take a party of four characters from 1st or 2nd level to 3rd or 4th by the conclusion. This is not a railroad. Multiple options to complete the adventure have been given, contingent upon player choice and information discovered. For instance, the party may decide to kill the witch or they may be inclined to lift her curse. Pains have been taken to give characters variant options for resolving encounters, with suggested DCs. Based on the resolution of this adventure, the characters may progress to variant future adventures.

The adventure will include a fleshed-out home base for the party - the village of Veknis - replete with a full cast of NPCs. Aside from the main quest, the party will have a chance to discover multiple side-quests and unearth more secrets of the setting, including the primeval fey forest, the Forest of Legressia!

The Valley of the Penguin Kings is a 5e adventure for characters of 5th-7th level that is designed to be playable over 4-5 hours. That being said, it contains plenty of content that can extend the adventure over several sessions, and unlockable player options via stretch goals! Great for a Christmas holiday one-shot, but designed to be fun and drop-in ready any time of the year.
